RIG CONTRACTED FOR COVENANT MONDO

Tellus Resources Ltd (“TLU” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that a rig contract has now been executed with SST Energy Corporation for the provision of Rig #54 (http://www.sstenergy.com/index.htm) for the imminent drilling of its Covenant Mondo conventional oil play in Utah, USA.

The rig is expected to arrive on the well site over the next few days and operations (“spud”) to commence early next week. The well is planned to take around 20 days to drill.

Commenting on this development, the Company’s Managing Director, Mr Carl Dorsch, said “We have been waiting for this development for a few months and I am very pleased that a suitable rig has finally been secured. This high impact conventional oil well could be a real company maker and I’m hoping for the results to be an early Christmas present for all our shareholders!”
