ASX RELEASE

Tellus Resources Ltd is an Australian‐based oil, gas and mineral exploration company.

Tellus holds a 100% interest in PEL 105 of the Cooper Basin as well as ATP 904 in the Surat Basin, Qld (subject to Ministerial approval). It also holds the Chillagoe Gold Project which includes Exploration Permits covering a combined area of ~28,878 hectares plus Mining Leases covering a combined area of approx. 480 hectares, including the Wandoo & Empire prospects.

In addition Tellus has a large tenement package in regional New South Wales prospective for Intrusive Related Gold Deposits (IRG).

PIRIE 1 Commencement

Tellus Resources Ltd (“the “Company” or “TLU”) is pleased to announce that it has commenced earthworks on its Pirie 1 wellsite and expects to be able to mobilize the drilling rig to site in the next ten days.

Pirie 1 is targeting the Tirrawarra and Patchawarra sands at approximately 3000m as primary plays which could contain up to three million barrels of recoverable oil equivalent. Secondary targets include the Birkhead/Hutton and Toolachee formations.

The Company also advises that it has completed the formal purchase of the remaining 50% of the PEL 105 interest subject to receiving Ministerial approval which is expected shortly.

Competent Persons Statement

The information in this statement that relates to Hydrocarbon Resources is based on information compiled by Mr Carl Dorsch (Managing Director) of the Company who is leading the Company’s operations efforts with the help of various professional consultants who are experts in their fields.

Mr Dorsch has been a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers since 1981. He holds Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degrees from the University of Adelaide, South Australia and is a Chartered Engineer as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Mr Dorsch has over 35 years experience in the oil and gas exploration and production business both in Australia and on the international stage. Although specialising in drilling and completion operations, his career has included reservoir and production operations.

Mr Dorsch has sufficient expertise in the activities undertaken to qualify as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 Edition of the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results.
