ASX RELEASE

Tellus Resources Ltd is an Australian-based oil, gas and mineral exploration company. Tellus holds a 100% interest in PEL 105 in the Cooper Basin as well as ATP 904 in the Surat Basin (subject to Ministerial approval). Tellus also holds the Chillagoe Gold Project which includes Exploration Permits covering a combined area of ~28,878 hectares plus Mining Leases covering a combined area of approx. 480 hectares, including the Wandoo & Empire prospects. In addition Tellus has a large tenement package in regional New South Wales prospective for Intrusive Related Gold Deposits (IRG).

Pirie 1 Weekly Drilling Report

Tellus Resources Limited (TLU or the Company) provides its weekly update on the progress of Pirie 1 below.

Upon reaching a depth of 2351m, some 41m into the Hutton formation, there were concerns that the vertical hole deviation had become much higher than had been recorded – this was confirmed by an alternative method which gave an indication of a deviation of more than 8 degrees. Following this, a decision to pull the string was made but the drill string became stuck with a bit depth of 2,218 m - some 130m off bottom.

All subsequent attempts to free the string including wash treatments have not succeeded and it was decided to attempt to sever the pipe above the stuck point. Several attempts have been made to date with tool equipment failure hampering progress. It is expected that the problems will be resolved today and the tool string above the stuck point retrieved.

There were good hydrocarbon shows in the basal Adori and Birkhead formations and a decision to possibly sidetrack will be made in close consultation with the Company’s Joint Venture partner.
