Tellus Resources Ltd (“the “Company” or “Tellus Resources”) requests a trading halt pending an announcement by the Company regarding a significant project acquisition.

The Company requests that the trading halt end on the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday 26 October 2011, or when the anticipated announcement referred to above is released to the market.

Tellus Resources confirms that:

• the event Tellus Resources expects will end the trading halt will be an announcement by the Company regarding a transaction; and

• it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
