TRADING HALT

The securities of Tellus Resources Ltd (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Tellus Resources Ltd (“the “Company” or “Tellus Resources”) requests a trading halt pending an announcement by the Company regarding a capital raising.

The Company requests that the trading halt end on the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on 23 April 2012, or when the anticipated announcement referred to above is released to the market.

Tellus Resources confirms that:

• the event Tellus Resources expects will end the trading halt will be an announcement by the Company regarding a capital raising; and

• it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
