FirstWave announces the appointment of Shekila Ramalingam as Vice President, Business Development APAC

The ap p ointment comes after an extensive ex e cutive searc h and coincid e s with the launch of First W ave’s publi c platfor m in North A m erica and Asia Pacfic in D e cember 201 7 .

Shekila has over 25 y ears of industry experience and havin g developed a n extensive r egional net w ork of senio r executives in the In f ormation Te c hnology and Telecommu n cations indu s try, Ms Ram a lingam is hi g hly regarde d and re s pected throu g hout the re g ion.

Ms. Ra m alingam’s p r evious roles include the H ead of Mana g ed Services S ales – IT & C loud ‐ Oceania, South Asi a and In d ia at Ericsson where she was respon s ible for sale s and deliver y of applicat i on services a nd manage d service s for the region; and Chi e f Informatio n Officer of U Mobile Sd n Bhd where she lead th e informatio n techno l ogy trasnfor m ation for th e company.

Ms Ra m alingam will execute Firs t Wave’s international exp a nsion strate g y across Asi a Pacific inclu d ing finalisin g existin g deals curre n tly under n e gotiation a n d realisatio n of new op p ortunities a c ross the ex p anded go‐to ‐ market channels de t ailed in FCT’s interntional strategy. She will also r ecruit and m anage pre‐s a les and sale s talent to achieve th e Company’s regional expa n sion ambitio n s.
