FirstWave Board announces transition plan for Chairman

Highlights:

• FirstWave’s Board commences transition plan for Non-Executive Chairman.

• Mr Alexander (Drew) Kelton will continue to fulfil the role of Non-Executive Chairman until a suitable successor is appointed.

Leading Australian Cloud Security technology company, FirstWave Cloud Technology Limited (ASX: FCT) (FirstWave or Company) confirms that Mr Drew Kelton will resign as Non-Excutive Chairman and the Board has commenced a transition plan for this role.

Mr Drew Kelton has indicated to the Board his intention to step down as Non-Executive Chairman of FirstWave due to his additional external business responsibilities. Mr Kelton will continue to perform the NonExecutive Chairman role until the Board identifies a suitable successor.

Commenting on the transition, Mr Kelton said, “It has been a great honour to serve as Non-Executive Chairman on the Board and to be part of the FirstWave team over the past 2.5 years. I believe as we move to the next stage of the Company’s growth plan, my capacity to support the executive team and the Board in a full-time Chairman role would be more limited and it is only fair that the Board embarks on a succession plan for the future.”

FirstWave Board member, Mr Scott Lidgett said, “Drew has played a fundamental role on our Board as NonExecutive Chairman since our public listing. Under his stewardship, FirstWave has achieved important strategic milestones including the realignment of our executive team and roll-out of our three-phased ‘Enhance’, ‘Expand’, ‘Scale’ approach, which has positioned the Company for successful global growth.”
