Preliminary results for business year 2007

In 2007 the Silicon Sensor Group has achieved the best result in the
company’s history. Sales increased in comparison to the previous year by
approximately 13% to more than 37 million Euros (31.12.2006: 32.64 million
Euros). The profitability of the group increased further. The EBIT
increased disproportionately by 19%. It grew by 1 million Euros from 5.5
million Euros (31.12.2006) to approximately 6.5 million Euros (31.12.2007).
The net income rose by approximately 44 % or by approximately 1.3 million
Euros from 3.0 million Euros (31.12.2006) to approximately 4.3 million
Euros. The Earnings per Share for 2007 amount to roughly 1.18 Euro, which
is an increase by 0.31 Euro or about 37% compared to the previous year
(31.12.2007: 0.87 Euro).

The progression in the order back log is positive. The order back log
increased by 11 % to 22.76 million Euros (31.12.2007) compared to the
previous year (31.12.2006: 20.52 million Euros).

All figures reflect the current and provisional status of the consolidated
annual financial statements and may be amended on the basis of audit
findings. The complete annual report will be published on March 28, 2008.

Supervisory Board and Board of Directors will decide on a dividend for 2007
by end of March 2008.

In 2008 the group will continue its growth path. Sales will increase from
37 million Euros (31.12.2007) to approximately 38 million Euros. Silicon
Sensor Group will focus on the completion of the new sensor fabrication
building in Berlin. Due to this one-time-effects caused by the construction
of the new sensor production site, and the time lag for orders in the
packaging business, the board of directors expect an EBIT, which is nearly
the same as in year 2007. To reach company´s goals in 2008, actions are
initiated to intesify sales and decrease costs. Starting with business year
2009 growth rate will increase further.
