Strong partnership as guarantor for further growth

Silicon Sensor International AG intends to conduct a capital increase by
352.250 shares.

The management and the board of directors of the company have resolved
today to increase the principal of the company by cash contribution. The
capital increase will be conducted with exclusion of the subscription right
of the existing shareholders and with intermediation of a private bank,
placing the shares at an institutional investor.

The involved bank has committed to sell the new shares at a price of Euro
17.50 per share to a known institutional investor, who will acquire all the
new shares from the bank. The new investor will accompany Silicon Sensor’s
further growth as a long term oriented shareholder.

The funds from the capital increase strengthen the financial funds of
Silicon Sensor International AG for the planned future growth.
