The Chairmann of the supervisory board resign

May 14, 2008

The chairman of the supervisory board of Silicon Sensor International AG,
Dr. Edgar Most, has informed us today, that he resigns from his position as
member of the supervisory board of the company according to medical
recommendation immediately effective.

Dr. Most has been member of the supervisory board of the company without
respite since the foundation of the company in 1988. Dr. Most promoted the
successful development of the Silicon Sensor Group significantly by his
permanent support. We thank Dr. Most for his assignment for the good of the
company and wish him all the best for his convalescence.

The present deputy chairman of the supervisory board, Mr. Altwein, adopts
the official functions from Dr. Most.
