The Deputy Chairmann of the supervisory board resigns according to medical
recommendation

The deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Silicon Sensor
International AG, Dr. Michael Altwein, has informed us today, that he
resigns from his position as member of the supervisory board of the company
according to medical recommendation immediately effective.

Dr. Altwein has been member of the supervisory board of the company since
2004. Dr. Altwein promoted the successful development of the Silicon Sensor
Group by his support. We thank Dr. Altwein for his assignment for the good
of the company and wish him all the best for his convalescence.

The present member of the supervisory board, Mr. Ernst Hofmann, adopts the
official functions from Dr. Altwein.
