New Chief Financial Officer Commences at First Graphene

First Graphene Limited (ASX:FGR; “First Graphene” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the commencement of Aditya Asthana as its new Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary.

Mr Asthana replaces Peter Youd, who will retire at the end of April after over eight years with the Company.

With more than 14 years’ experience in finance and business management, Mr Asthana also has significant international experience. He comes to First Graphene from Orica Ltd where he served as Regional Head of Finance APAC, in WA.

While with Orica he also held roles as Interim Vice President Finance Australia Asia, in Victoria, CFO / Finance Director – Indonesia and Finance Manager SEA, Singapore.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr Asthana said that First Graphene was at a pivotal stage in its development.

“I am pleased to be joining the Company as it commences the next stage in its growth,” Mr Asthana said. “There is significant global potential for graphene as manufacturers start to understand its applications and the PureGRAPH[®] product is extremely well placed to leverage those opportunities.”

CEO, Michael Bell said “I would like to welcome Aditya to the FGR team. He has come to FGR at an exciting time as we continue our growth. His experience will be valuable as our commercial activities expand.”

Mr Asthana commenced with First Graphene this week.
