First Bancorp has named Michael G. Mayer as President of First Bancorp. Mr. Mayer will continue to serve as President of First Bank, the principal subsidiary of First Bancorp. Richard H. Moore will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of First Bancorp and First Bank.

Information regarding Mr. Mayer, including his business experience and relationships with the Company, has been previously reported in the Company’s proxy statement filed April 1, 2015 and in the Form 8-K filed on February 27, 2014, and such information is incorporated by reference herein.
