FINNAIR OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 24 JULY 2007 FINNAIR SOLD FOUR ATR TURBOPROP AIRCRAFT Finnair has sold four of subsidiary Aero's seven ATR-72 turboprop aircraft. The 68 seat aircraft have been operated by Finnair on routes in southern Finland and the Baltic States since 1989. The aircraft were purchased by ATR Leasing Ltd and will continue to fly in Sweden, Serbia and South Korea. “The aircraft are getting on in age but are in very good condition. Their technology and economic efficiency are still quite competitive. Finnair has been replacing ATR routes with new Embraer jet aircraft operated frequencies,” says Finnair Assistant Vice President Maunu Visuri. A sales profit of approximately 4.5 million euros will be recorded for the second quarter and an over one million euro sales profit for the third quarter. Aero continues to operate three ATR-72 aircraft primarily from Helsinki to Tallinn, Tampere and Turku.
