The sale of Finnair Travel Retail’s airport shop operations has been completed

Finnair Plc Stock Exchange Release 1 October 2014 at 11:30 a.m EET Finnair announced on 7 August 2014 the sale of its subsidiary Finnair Travel Retail's shops at Helsinki Airport to World Duty Free Group. The sale of the business has been completed on 1 October 2014. With the transaction, 58 of Finnair Travel Retail's employees transferred to World Duty Free Helsinki Ltd. as existing employees. The transaction is a part of Finnair's restructuring program in which Finnair aims to focus on its core airline business. It has a positive impact of approximately 13 million euros on Finnair's 2014 result before taxes.
