Lasse Heinonen has been appointed Finnair's Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Stock Exchange Release 13.1.2009 12.00 The Board of Directors of Finnair Plc has made a following decision concerning arrangements in Finnair's senior management: Finnair's CFO, MSc (Econ.), Lasse Heinonen, 40, has been appointed Executive Vice President and Finnair's Deputy CEO as of today. Mr. Heinonen has been serving Finnair since 2004 and he is a member of the Executive Board of Finnair Plc and the Management Board of the Finnair Group. Heinonen continues as the CFO of the Group. In the new organization structure, the business units of Aviation Services will report to EVP Heinonen: Northport Oy (ground handling), Finnair Catering Oy and Finnair Technical Services. Heinonen is also in charge of Finnair cargo companies and Finnair Aircraft Finance (fleet management) and Finnair Facilities Management. Out of those reporting to EVP Heinonen, SVP Technical Services Kimmo Soini continues as a member of the Executive Board of Finnair Plc and the Management Board of the Finnair Group. In addition, Managing Director of Northport Oy Jukka Hämäläinen, Managing Director of Finnair Catering Oy and Managing Director of Finnair cargo companies Antero Lahtinen continue as members of the Management Board of the Finnair Group.
