Trieste, 22 March 2016 – Fincantieri S.p.A ("Fincantieri" or the "Company") announces that on 21 March 2016 Mrs. Anna Molinotti tendered her resignation as Director of the Board and member of the Compensation Committee, with immediate effect.
In the context of a review of her work relationship with Fintecna S.p.A., Fincantieri S.p.A.'s controlling shareholder, Mrs. Molinotti concluded that the conditions for her serene and active contribution to the work of the Board of Directors of Fincantieri S.p.A. are no longer met.
Mrs. Molinotti was a non-executive and non-independent Director, as defined in the Corporate Governance Code for Italian listed companies.
Based on the disclosures made to the Company and to the general public, Mrs. Molinotti does not hold any ordinary shares of Fincantieri.
The Company would like to thank Mrs. Anna Molinotti for the high level of professionalism and dedication shown in the performance of her duties.
