Director Appointment
Western Australian property development company, Finbar Group Limited (“Finbar” or “the Company”) (ASX:FRI) , is pleased to announce the appointment of experienced company director, Mr Lee Verios, as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
Mr Verios is a well credentialed commercial lawyer having practised in Western Australia for over 40 years. Until his retirement in 2010, Mr Verios was Partner in the international law firm of Norton Rose and the leader of their Commercial Property division in Perth. Throughout his legal career, Mr Verios has held senior management roles in each of the firms of which he has been a member.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr Verios is an experienced company director, having held positions in a variety of public and private enterprises.
He has been a director of privately owned investment company Wyllie Group Pty Ltd since July 2004, is Chairman of ASX listed property developer Port Bouvard Limited, and NonExecutive Director of ASX listed Decmil Group Limited, a design and civil engineering construction company.
Mr Verios is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Law Society of Western Australia, the Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was previously Chairman of the Australian Indonesian Business Council (WA Branch).
