LAPSING OF UNLISTED OPTIONS TO ACQUIRE FULLY PAID ORDINARY SHARES

Monitor Energy Limited wishes to advise that the following unlisted options to acquire fully paid ordinary shares lapsed on 31 March 2009:

• 2,000,000 with an exercise price of $0.03 and an expiry date of 31 March 2009.

As a result of the lapsing of the 2,000,000 options above, the Company now has 18,250,000 unlisted options on issue.
