The Board of Orca Energy Limited (Orca or the Company) provides the following commentary and Appendix 5B for the period ending 30 June 2017.

Last quarter, the Company advised that it had identified what it believed to be a suitable asset to acquire and in turn, begin the corporate process to have its shares re-admitted to trading. Unfortunately, while terms were agreed, the transaction did not proceed due to circumstances outside the control of Orca, with the vendor ultimately deciding on an IPO.

This was a disappointing outcome, however the Board remains committed to sourcing a high quality asset with its strong cash position, dedicated advisors and extremely supportive major shareholders.

While it continues in search of such an opportunity, the Company would like to thank all shareholders for their continued patience and hopes to present a transaction for consideration in the not too distant future.
