RENOUNCEABLE ENTITLEMENT ISSUE NOTIFICATION OF SUBSCRIPTIONS

Monitor Energy Limited (“Monitor” or “Company”) hereby notifies the ASX that, pursuant to the Entitlement Issue Prospectus dated 19 May 2009 and released to the ASX on the same date, the following subscriptions have been received by the Company (subject to the clearance of funds):

As previously announced to the ASX in section 3.6 of the Prospectus dated 19 May 2009, the Shortfall shall be placed at the discretion of the Underwriter, being Patersons Securities Limited, in consultation with the Company.

The Company is working towards dispatching holding statements to Share and Option holders as soon as possible, and has applied to the ASX for quotation of these Shares and Options.
