Trading Update and Notice of Results

Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of antennas, filters and mmWave products for the wireless telecoms and critical communications markets, is pleased to provide the following trading update for the 12 month period to 31 May 2018 ("FY2018").

Trading during the second half of the year was broadly in line with market guidance. The Board therefore expects, subject to audit, to report Group revenue of approximately £24.0m (2017: £35.4m), operating profit of approximately £1.8m (2017: £1.7m) and EBITA of approximately £1.9m (2017: £1.8m). The Group had net cash of £3.4m at 31 May 2018 (2017: net cash £2.6m).

The results for the financial year ended 31 May 2018 will be announced on 16 August 2018 and the Company's AGM will be held at the offices of Pinsent Masons, 1 Park Row, Leeds LS1 5AB Leeds on 25 October 2018.
