Update on Chief Financial Officer

Further to the announcement made on 29th November 2013, Filtronic plc is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Executive Director of Filtronic plc.

Rob Smith (age 50) will join with effect from 16th June 2014 taking over as Chief Financial Officer from Mike Brennan who will step down on 15th April 2014.  

Rob is currently Finance Director of APC Technology Group PLC.  

An interim Finance Director will be appointed for the period between Mike Brennan's departure and Rob Smith's arrival. 

There are no other matters requiring disclosure under Listing Rule 9.6.13.
