AGM STATEMENT AND NOTICE OF RESULTS
Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of products for the aerospace, defence, telecoms infrastructure and critical communications markets is pleased to provide the following update ahead of its Annual General Meeting being held later today at 11.00am.
The Group's trading performance in the opening months of FY2022 is in line with internal forecasts and shows a healthy improvement on the prior year. Therefore, we remain confident of delivering results for the full year in line with market expectations.
We continue to focus our activities on the strategic objective of broadening the customer base and markets we serve and were pleased to announce the recent contract win with a leading over-the-air US RF company for $0.8m. The pandemic made new customer acquisition more challenging but with the easing of travel restrictions, the Group has exhibited at several industry trade events in the last two months and is in advanced discussions to further expand the indirect channels to market in both Europe and the USA.
Filtronic will announce its half-year results for the six months ended 30 November 2021 on 8 February 2022.
