The College Retirement Equities Fund ("CREF") hereby informs you that on February 15, 2017 we bought 23,932 shares of Fevertree Drinks Plc bringing the total shares owned to 2,217,342.  CREF owns these shares through two of its investment accounts, the Global Equities Account and CREF Stock Account.  It is our understanding the total voting shares outstanding of Fevertree Drinks Plc is 115,240,896, bringing CREF's ownership in Fevertree Drinks Plc to a 1.924% level. For your information, CREF is a U.S. based investment company, which is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC").  CREF has multiple investment accounts, each with separate investment objectives and policies.  All assets in the accounts are beneficially owned by CREF, and all the accounts are managed by TIAA-CREF Investment Management, LLC, an SEC registered investment adviser. Additionally, affiliates of CREF on February 15, 2017  bought 107,395 shares bringing the total owned by such affiliates to 1,252,518 shares of Fevertree Drinks Plc.  These holdings are owned by mutual funds which are investment portfolios of the TIAA-CREF Funds ("Funds").  The Funds are an SEC registered investment company and the Funds are managed by Teachers Advisors, LLC, an SEC registered investment adviser that is affiliated with TIAA-CREF Investment Management, LLC.  A total of 3,469,860 or 3.011% of the outstanding voting shares of Fevertree Drinks Plc are owned, in aggregate, by CREF and these affiliated funds. Because Teachers Advisors, LLC and TIAA-CREF Investment Management, LLC follow the same policies when voting on behalf of CREF and the Funds, we are aggregating the holdings for purposes of this form.
