Diversified Western Australian, exploration and development company Emergent Resources Limited (ASX: EMG) (Emergent or The Company) wishes to update the market in relation to joint venture discussions regarding its prospective flagship Beyondie Iron Project in Western Australia.

In response to interest expressed by a number of Indian groups, Emergent’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Nathan Lude, and Chief Geologist, Mr Jono King, will travel to India to meet with a number of companies to further discuss the parameters of possible future joint venture agreements and offtake arrangements for the development of the Beyondie Iron Project.

The Company’s Beyondie Iron Project, has a JORC Inferred Magnetite Resource of 561 million tonnes at 27.5% Fe. The Company has significant potential to increase the resource base as it explores more than 60 kilometres of available strike in the magnetite-bearing unit.

Emergent is currently undertaking a development program at its Beyondie Iron Project aimed at bringing the project’s magnetite resource and hematite potential product to market.

The Beyondie project is located adjacent to the Great Northern Highway and Goldfields Gas Pipeline in the northern part of WA’s mid-west iron ore precinct.
