APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

Emergent Resources Limited (EMG or the Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of highly experienced corporate executive, Mr Bevan Tarratt, to its Board of Directors.

Mr Tarratt has an extensive background in capital markets, accounting and corporate advisory with a specific focus on small cap Australian equities. Mr Tarratt was previously a client advisor at Patersons Securities and partner of a venture capital firm. He has been involved in the recapitalisation, restructuring & acquisition of assets for numerous ASX companies.

Mr Tarratt is currently a director on Stonehenge Metals Ltd and is a former director and chairman of numerous other ASX listed companies.

Mr Wolfgang Fischer has resigned from the Board of Directors. The Company thanks Mr Fischer for his contribution to the Company and wishes him well with his future endeavours.
