EMERGENT RESOURCES BOARD CHANGES: MR FRANCIS DESOUZA STEPS DOWN AND MR PATRICK BURKE IS APPOINTED

DIRECTOR RESIGNATION

Diversified Western Australian exploration and development company, Emergent Resources Limited ( ASX: EMG ) ( “Emergent” or “the Company” ), wishes to announce that Mr Francis DeSouza has decided to step down from its Board as a Non-Executive Director.

The Board would like to thank Mr DeSouza for his contribution to the Company as a Non-Executive Director. The Board wishes Mr DeSouza well in his professional future.

DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

Emergent is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Patrick Burke to its Board as a NonExecutive Director replacing Mr DeSouza.

Mr Burke holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Australia. He has approximately twenty years experience working in law firms and companies in Australia and Europe. His expertise is in corporate, commercial and securities law with an emphasis on capital raisings and mergers and acquisitions. He contributes general corporate and legal skills along with a strong knowledge of the ASX requirements. He is a director of Monto Minerals Ltd, Minerals Corporation Limited, Sirocco Energy Limited and WAG Limited, companies listed on ASX.

The Board looks forward to working with Mr Burke.
