Appointment of Non-Executive Director

FD (AIM:FDP.L, ESM:FDP.I), a leading provider of software and consulting services, announces that Jon Robson (56) will join its board as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Based in the United States, Jon has extensive experience as an executive and an independent director in the Capital Markets industry. Jon has recently been appointed Chief Executive of Relationship Science Inc, an early stage data-driven corporate relationship development organisation. He was previously CEO of NYSE Technologies, a business incorporating all the technology divisions of NYSE Euronext prior to its sale to Intercontinental Exchange.  Jon was an executive at Thomson Reuters Inc. between 2003 and 2012 where he served as President of the Enterprise Division which generated annual revenues of $1.4bn. During his time at Thomson Reuters, he also served as CEO of Reuters Americas.

Prior to this, Jon has held Directorships at Intercapital Limited, and ICAP PLC. Additionally, Jon was a Director of Moneyline Telerate, MoneylineTelerate (UK) Ltd and Chief Executive Officer of Moneyline Network UK/Europe. Moneyline Telerate's principal business was in providing on-screen, real-time financial information to financial institutions. Jon has also held Directorships at Omgeo and The Partnership for New York.
