Appointment of Director

FBD Holdings plc ("FBD") is pleased to announce the appointment of Sylvia Cronin to the Board of FBD Holdings as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect. 

Ms Cronin is an experienced insurance executive with a distinguished career in the private sector and more recently in the Central Bank of Ireland where she was Director of Insurance Supervision for five years.

The Chairman of FBD Holdings plc, Mr Liam Herlihy, said:

"I am pleased to announce that Sylvia will join our Board. Ms Cronin will bring additional skills and experience in the financial services industry and in prudential regulation to our Board. We all look forward to working with her on the development of our business."
