Senior Management Appointment

FBD Holdings plc is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. David Costello to the role of Chief Risk Officer for FBD Insurance plc ("FBD").

A qualified actuary and Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland, Mr. Costello joins FBD from Allianz Worldwide Care where he was Head of Actuarial Services for the past nine years and a member of the Executive Management Team.

Mr. Costello has worked in various actuarial roles in the insurance industry over 25 years in a number of companies including Zurich Insurance Ireland and New Ireland.  In 2001 Mr. Costello was first promoted to a Chief Actuary position.  He has also served on the Council of the Society of Actuaries (2009 - 2013).

Mr. Costello will join FBD on 22 February 2016.
