ASX and Media Announcement
Fatfish Sets Up New Business Division To Offer Strategic Advice To Tech Companies for IPO and M&A activities
ASX-listed venture investment firm Fatfish Internet Group Ltd (“FFG”) today announces the setting up of a new business division to be named Fatfish Corporate Advisory Division (FCAD). FCAD will operate out of Fatfish Capital Limited, a subsidiary of FFG based in Singapore.
In order to help tech companies improve their access to capital, FCAD will be a boutique corporate advisory service provider specializing in working with tech companies to bring to bear alternative funding and growth models for tech companies through Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) or capital market transactions vide trade sales or Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
Having been involved actively in the venture investment space of the tech sector, FFG recognizes that one of the key challenges for tech investors would be liquidity. This is even more apparent for tech companies outside of the major tech merger and acquisition belt such as the Silicon Valley area.
FCAD will work closely with a network of partnered investment banks and professional firms to help tech companies to chart out and execute an early capital market listing or transaction on capital markets suitable for the risk and growth profile of tech companies.
The FCAD team will be spearheaded by FFG’s CEO Mr Kin-Wai Lau, complemented by current and incoming new team-members to FFG comprising of capital market veterans with very diverse international experience across Europe and Asia Pacific. Coupled this with FFG’s experience and foundation of venture investment in the technology space, the FCAD team is uniquely positioned to understand the needs and DNA of tech companies.
This new business division is expected to generate new streams of revenue to FFG gradually as the new business scales up.
