Singapore Internet venture accelerator Fatfish Internet Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fatfish Internet Group Ltd (ASX:FFG), has entered into a MOU with Indonesia-based BPIV to form a Strategic Partnership.
Under the strategic partnership Fatfish and BPIV will jointly explore investment opportunities in the Indonesian Internet and Information Technology sectors by identifying and incubating new startups and making joint investments.
BPIV is a subsidiary of Batavia Prosperindo Group (“BPG”), a well established Indonesian financial services group founded in 1999, specializing in consumer finance, asset management, securities brokerage and insurance through its operating companies. BPG has two of its operating companies publicly quoted on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. BPG has abundant experience and wide local network and resources for private sector investment in Indonesia.

The strategic partnership enables Fatfish to take a more active role in investing in Internet businesses with high-growth potential in the Republic of Indonesia, the fourth most populous country in the world with a population of 260 million.
