Fastned grows revenues 150% in Q4 2019

Fast charging company publishes Q4 2019 trading update

Amsterdam, 9 January 2019. Fastned, the fast charging company that is building a European network of fast charging stations, continued to grow rapidly in Q4 2019. Revenues in Q4 exceeded the full year revenue of 2018. For the first time, Fastned delivered more than 1 million kWh in a single month.

• Revenue: € 1,703,000 (+150% vs. Q4 2018) [1]
• Volume: 2,932 MWh of renewable energy (+157% vs. Q4 2018)
• Active customers: 42,805 (+139% vs. Q4 2018)
• ● 2.3 million kg of CO² avoided
• ● 14.7 million of electric kilometers enabled
• ● Over 174 thousand charging sessions

Milestones

• - Fastned opened five new stations in The Netherlands, bringing the number of operational stations in the Fastned network to 114 at the end of 2019.
• Fastned added more and faster chargers to stations to increase capacity and improve the charging experience.
• Fastned raised 12 million euro in bonds to finance further growth.
• Fastned has been granted 13 motorway locations in Belgium.
• - At the end of 2019 Fastned had a grand total of 259 acquired locations, 147 municipality permits and 138 grid connections.

[1] In its quarterly trading updates for 2018 and earlier, Fastned's reported Revenue related to the sales of electricity only. Starting from the first quarter of 2019, and in line with the 2018 Annual Report, the Revenues reported includes sales of electricity, maintenance fees and other operating revenues. Omzet Fastned groeit met 150% in Q4 2019

Snellaadbedrijf publiceert Q4 trading update 2019

Amsterdam, 9 januari 2020. Fastned, het snellaadbedrijf dat bouwt aan een Europees netwerk van snellaadstations, bleef snel groeien in Q4 2019. De omzet in Q4 overtrof de omzet over het volledige jaar in 2018. Voor het eerst leverde Fastned meer dan 1 miljoen kWh in één maand.

• Omzet: € 1.703.000 (+150% vs. Q4 2018) [1]
• Afzet: 2.932 MWh aan duurzame energie (+157% vs. Q4 2018)

• ● Actieve klanten: 42.805 (+139% vs. Q4 2018)
• ● 2,3 miljoen kg aan CO² vermeden
• ● 14,7 miljoen elektrische kilometers mogelijk gemaakt
• ● Meer dan 174 duizend laadsessies

Mijlpalen

• - Fastned opende vijf nieuwe stations in Nederland en bracht daarmee het totale netwerk op 114 stations.
• Fastned heeft meer en snellere laders toegevoegd aan stations om de capaciteit te vergroten en de laadervaring te verbeteren.
• Fastned haalde 12 miljoen euro op met de uitgifte van obligaties voor de uitbreiding van haar snellaadnetwerk.
• Fastned heeft 13 snelweglocaties in België vergund gekregen.
• - Aan het eind van 2019 had Fastned in totaal 259 locaties, 147 vergunningen en 138 netaansluitingen.

Noot: bovenstaande cijfers zijn nog niet gecontroleerd door de accountant.

[1] In de kwartaalupdates voor 2018 en daarvoor rapporteerde Fastned de omzet alleen met betrekking tot de verkoop van elektriciteit. Vanaf het eerste kwartaal van 2019, en in lijn met het jaarverslag van 2018, omvat de gerapporteerde omzet de verkoop van elektriciteit, onderhoudskosten en andere opbrengsten. De gepresenteerde groei van de omzet in Q4 2019 is vergeleken met Q4 2018 op een like-for-like basis.
