Fastned geeft nieuwe obligaties uit met 6% rente

Amsterdam, 22 oktober 2020. Snellaadbedrijf Fastned is vandaag gestart met de inschrijfperiode voor een nieuwe serie obligaties. Met deze uitgifte financiert Fastned onder andere de verdere uitbreiding van het snellaadnetwerk. Hiermee komt Fastned tegemoet aan de groeiende energievraag van het snel toenemende aantal elektrische auto's. De obligaties kennen net als eerdere uitgiften een looptijd van 5 jaar en keren 6% rente per jaar uit. De rente wordt per kwartaal uitgekeerd. Deelname is mogelijk vanaf 1.000 euro.

Inschrijven op de obligaties is mogelijk vanaf vandaag tot en met 19 november 2020 via de website fastned.nl/obligaties. Het prospectus is direct beschikbaar via fastned.nl/prospectus.

Fastned maakte vorige week bekend dat de omzet gerelateerd aan opladen in het derde kwartaal van 2020 met 54% was gestegen ten opzichte van hetzelfde kwartaal in 2019. De groei wordt op dit moment geremd doordat veel mensen thuiswerken. Tegelijkertijd groeit de onderliggende markt, namelijk het aantal elektrische voertuigen, snel. Zodra mensen weer meer gaan rijden, verwacht Fastned een versnelde omzetgroei. Daarom is het van belang om te blijven investeren in extra capaciteit van het laadnetwerk.

Fastned issues new bonds with 6% interest

Amsterdam, 22 October 2020. This morning, fast charging company Fastned has started subscription to a new series of bonds. The issue will be primarily used to finance further expansion of its fast charging network. This is necessary given the strong growth in the number of electric cars and the related demand for fast charging infrastructure. Similar to previous issues the bonds have a maturity of 5 years and pay out 6% interest per year. The interest is paid out per quarter in arrears. The bonds are 1000 euro apiece.

Subscription to the bonds is possible from today until the 19th of November 2020 via the website fastnedcharging.com/bonds. The prospectus can be found directly via fastnedcharging.com/prospectus.

Fastned announced last week that its revenue related to charging in the third quarter of 2020 had increased by 54% compared to the same quarter in 2019. Growth is currently hampered because many drivers of electric vehicles are still working from home. At the same time, the underlying market, the number of electric vehicles, is growing rapidly. As soon as people start driving again, Fastned expects accelerated sales growth. That is why it is important to continue to invest in additional charging network capacity.
