Effective December 16, 2011, Grace Kunde, Vice President and Corporate Controller of Extra Space Storage Inc. (the “Company”), assumed the role of the Company’s principal accounting officer, succeeding Scott Stubbs who was recently appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Ms. Kunde, 36, joined the Company in July 2005 and served as the Company’s Director of SEC Reporting from August 2006 until her promotion to Vice President and Corporate Controller in December 2011. Ms. Kunde holds a B.S. in Accounting from San Diego State University.
