4 maggio 2018. - Exprivia – società quotata al segmento STAR di Borsa Italiana [XPR.MI] – comunica che Italtel Spa, azienda controllata all'81%, e Open Fiber Spa hanno firmato le estensioni contrattuali relative alle attività di sviluppo della rete a Banda Ultralarga per le aree bianche del Paese (le cosiddette aree «a fallimento di mercato») dei primi due bandi Infratel. I primi contratti risalgono al 2016 anno in cui Italtel è stata scelta in qualità di progettista indicato.
L'importo economico complessivo, riferito all'attività di durata pluriennale, dipendentemente dalle tempistiche che saranno indicate dal committente, è di circa 200 milioni di euro, in linea con le aspettative economiche del piano industriale Italtel.
I bandi Infratel hanno come oggetto la progettazione e costruzione nonché la manutenzione e gestione di una infrastruttura a Banda Ultralarga per oltre 6700 Comuni appartenenti alle regioni Lombardia, Veneto, Toscana, Emilia Romagna, Abruzzo e Molise (primo bando) e alle regioni Piemonte, Valle d'Aosta, Liguria, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Marche, Umbria, Lazio, Campania, Basilicata, Sicilia e Provincia Autonoma di Trento (secondo bando).
Italtel, attraverso i propri Centri di Ingegneria delle Reti a Banda Ultralarga conduce la progettazione della infrastruttura di accesso in fibra ottica (FTTH – Fiber To The Home), della rete di accesso wireless (FWA fixed wireless access), nonché dei PoP (Point of Presence) della rete.

May, 4 2018. - Exprivia - a company listed on the STAR segment of Borsa Italiana [XPR.MI] - informs that Italtel Spa, a 81% controlled company, and Open Fiber Spa have extended their contracts related to the development of the ultra-broadband network in the white areas of Italy (the so-called 'market failure' areas) of the first two Infratel tenders. The first contracts for the project date back to 2016, when Italtel was chosen as the designated designer of the network.
The overall economic value, related to the multi-year activity, depending on the timing that will be indicated by the client, is worth more than €200 million, lining up with the economic expectations of Italtel's industrial plan.
The object of the Infratel tenders is the designing and construction, as well as the maintenance and management of an ultra-broadband infrastructure for more than 6,700 Municipalities belonging to the regions of Lombardy, Veneto, Tuscany, Emilia Romagna, Abruzzo and Molise (first tender) and Piedmont, Valle of Aosta, Liguria, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Marche, Umbria, Lazio, Campania, Basilicata, Sicily and the Autonomous Province of Trento (second tender).
At its ultra-broadband Engineering Centers, Italtel carries out the designing of the fiber optic access infrastructure (FTTH – Fiber To The Home), the Fixed Wireless Access network (FWA) and the network's Point of Presence (PoPs).
