Resignation of Chief Financial Officer – Owen Kemp
Experience Co Limited, (EXP/Company/Group), one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading adventure tourism operators, announces that Chief Financial Officer, Owen Kemp has given notice that he will be resigning from the Company effective 5 February 2024.
CEO, John O’Sullivan acknowledged Owen’s contribution to the business over the past 4 years and wished him well for the future. “I want to personally thank Owen for his significant contribution to our business over the course of his tenure. During this time, he was instrumental in leading the 2019 strategic review, management of the business during Covid-19 as well as the successful completion of the acquisition and capital raise to support the acquisition of Treetops Adventure. On behalf of all of us at EXP, I wish Owen well in his future endeavours.”
Gavin Yates, EXP’s General Manager Finance - who joined the business in October 2022 - and has worked alongside Owen since this time, will immediately assume the role of Acting CFO until a replacement CFO is appointed. Gavin has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services, resources, and energy sectors.
