This is with reference to our earlier letter dated 9[th ] April 2024, wherein it was informed that "Exide Industries Limited" (the Company) had entered into an agreement for acquiring 26% equity stake in "Clean Max Arcadia Private Limited", a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPY) promoted and incorporated by Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd. for generation and supply of solar power at our Bawal factory in Haryana.

We further wish to inform you that the Company has invested a sum of Rs. 5,34,33,929/- in the SPY company towards acquisition of 26% equity shareholding and the allotment of equity shares against the said investment was done on 25[th ] April 2024.

You are requested to kindly take the above on record.
