আবার উবর চালকের অেভ্যতা। শ্লীলতাহানির ঘটনায় গ্রেপ্তার উবর চালক। মঙ্গলবার রাতে দু'জে অভিনেত্রী কমলিকা মণ্ডল এবং তাঁর বন্ধুেুকন্যা চক্রবর্তী হরিদেবপুর এলাকার যুবচক্র ক্লাবের োমরে টেকে অ্যাপক্যাবে ওরেে। অভিযোগ, গাতির লোকেশে ঠিক করার জে্য চালককে বলতেই তর্ক শুরু হয়। অভিযোগ, চালক স্যানিটাইজার বার করে দু'জরের মুখে ছিটিয়ে দেন। গাতি জোরে চালাতে োকে চালক। দুটো ব্যাগ নিয়ে অ্যাপক্যাবের দরজা খুলে ওই দুই অভিনেত্রী োমার চেষ্টা করেন। গাতি োমাতে বললেও গাতি ো োমিয়ে আরও জোরে চালিয়ে দেয়। দরজা খোলা অবস্থাতেই গাতি ছটতে ু োকে। এরপর এক জায়গায় দাঁতিয়ে দুই অভিনেত্রীর ব্যাগ ধরেও টাোর চেষ্টা করে। োোয় অভিযোগ করা হয়। এরপর চারু মার্কেট োো এলাকা টেকে স্বপে বিশ্বাস োমে ওই

৩৫ কোটির মূর্তি উদ্ধার
৩৫ কোটি টাকা মূল্যের অ্যান্টিক মূর্তি উদ্ধার করল শুল্ক দপ্তর। বাংলাদেশ পাচারের আগেই
টেগুলোকে ধরা হল। দক্ষিি দিনাজপুরের একটি জায়গায় ট্রাকে করে ওই মূর্তিগুলো নিয়ে আো হচ্ছিল। বেশিরভাগই বিষ্ণুমূর্তি। এছািা নর্তকনর্ত লী, দুর্গার মূর্তিও রয়েছে। ধারের বস্তার ভেতর লুকনো ছিল বহুমূল্য দুষ্প্রাপ্য মূর্তি। কালিয়াগঞ্জ েলীমান্তে লরি আটকে ধারের বস্তা খুলে টেলে মূর্তিগুলো উদ্ধার করা হয়। অধিকাংশ মূর্তি েবম ও ট�ািশ শতকের বলে প্রাথমিক তদন্তে জাো গেছে। ধৃতদের জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ চলছে।

বুধবার আলিপুর আদালতের অতিরিক্ত জেলা ও দায়রা আদালতের বিচারক পার্থপ্রতিম চক্রবর্তী বধূহত্যার মামলায় মৃতার স্বামলী ও শাশুতিকে ১০ বছর েশ্রম কারাদণ্ডের আদেশ দিলেন। ২০১০ োলে রবলীন্দ্রেগরের ঘটনা। হাোে মোল্লার সঙ্গে বিয়ে হয়েছিল জানলিসা বেগমের। বিয়ের ৫ মারের মাোয় আগুরে পুড়ে মৃত্যু হয় ওই বধূর।
কারাদণ্ড
গত তিরেম্বরে ৯ বছরের এক কিশোরলীর শ্লীলতাহানির ঘটনায় লোকোে মণ্ডলকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছিল উল্টোডাঙা োোর পুলিশ। ওই কিশোরলীর মা োোয় অভিযোগ জানিয়েছিলেন। পলাতক ছিল লোকোে। জেরায় টে অপরাধ স্বীকার করে। বুধবার শিয়ালদা আদালত অভিযুক্ত লোকোথকে ৫ বছরের কারাদণ্ডের আদেশ দিয়েছে। টেইসঙ্গে ২০ হাজার টাকা জরিমাো। জরিমাোর ৯০ শতাংশই নির্যাতিতাকে দিতে হবে।
