2021 FULL-YEAR RESULTS
Excelsior Capital Limited (ASX:ECL) (‘ECL’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce the financial results for the full-year ended 30 June 2021 and attaches an Appendix 4E and Financial Statements.
The Company reports Group Revenue for FY21 of $75.3 million (FY20: $60M), and a statutory net profit after tax (NPAT) of $5.4 million (FY20: $3.6 million). The Company advises that it adopted AASB 16 accounting for leases in the prior year which had a positive impact to net profit before tax (NPBT) of $137k, (FY20: $160k).
The Group commenced FY21 in a strong capital position with a specific focus on market share and growth in the Electrical Business and a rationalisation of the investments in the Investment Portfolio. The current focus of the investment portfolio is generating sustainable long-term value through opportunities both in listed and unlisted investments.
The Electrical business performed strongly throughout FY21 despite the broader economic challenges. Large infrastructure projects and construction across the country, as well as growth from new customers and solidifying our strong relationships with existing customers, contributed to increased sales. The company expects this sales growth to continue into FY22.
The Board has declared a final fully franked dividend of 2 cents per share with a Record Date of 6 September 2021 and is payable on 23 September 2021. This amounts to a total of 4 cents per share in fully franked dividends for the year.
