CMI Announces Completion of TJM Sale

CMI Limited (ASX:CMI) advises that it has today completed the sale of TJM Products Pty Ltd (TJM) to Aeroklas Australia Pty Ltd (Aeroklas), a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroklas Co Ltd in Thailand which is wholly owned by Eastern Polymer Group, the Stock Exchange of Thailand listed company (SET: EPG).

On the 24[th] February 2015, CMI announced that it had entered into a binding sale and purchase agreement for the TJM business with a sale price of A$22.2 million net of cash and debt.

The gross proceeds from the divestment including cash and working capital adjustments are expected to be approximately A$24 million with final figures to be established in a few weeks’ time.

CMI is now well positioned with a profitable electrical products business, no debt, and around $30 million in cash to support the further growth of the business. Expansion plans include the organic growth of the existing business, and/or acquisitions of profitable businesses in sectors that have synergies with the electrical products operations.
