APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR

CMI Limited (ASX: CMI), today announced Mr Steve Miotti has been appointed to the Board of CMI as an Independent Non-Executive Director as a replacement for Mr Jeff Forbes.

Steve is a special counsel who has practiced law for over twenty five years having been admitted to practice as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1987.

During his years of practice he has developed extensive experience and expertise in the legal practices areas relating to Corporate Advisory, Property, Wills and Estate Planning and Sports Law.

Steve has been a member of a number of committees including the Intellectual Property Sub Committee of the Queensland Law Society and was Chairman of the Appeals Committee for Soccer Queensland.

The Board thanks Mr Jeff Forbes for his contributions to the company.
