Appointment of independent director
CMI is pleased to announce that Ross Rolfe has accepted an invitation to join the Board as an independent non-executive Director effective immediately.
Ross has broad experience as both a Chief Executive and an independent director of Australian companies operating in the energy, infrastructure and contracting sectors.
Ross is currently the Chair of WDS Limited, an ASX listed company that supplies contracting services to the coal and gas industries. He is also the Chair of CS Energy, a government owned generation company based in Queensland and a Non- Executive Director of Infigen Energy, an ASX listed company with a renewable energy portfolio in Australia and the USA.
In addition, he holds a senior executive role in Lend Lease and has previously held positions as Chief Executive Officer of Alinta Energy and Stanwell Corporation as well as Director-General of the Departments of Premier and Cabinet, Trade, State Development and Coordinator-General in Queensland.
The directors welcome the appointment of Mr Rolfe and believe he brings extensive and relevant skills and experience to the board.
