Essen, 4 March 2019 – Evonik Industries AG and Advent International have agreed on the key terms of a sale of the methacrylates business for a purchase price in the amount of 3.0 billion EUR. The business comprises the Methacrylates, Acrylic Products and CyPlus business lines, and some of the methacrylate resins activities. The necessary approval by the Supervisory Board of Evonik Industries AG is still pending. The notarization of the corresponding purchase agreement is currently taking place.
