APPOINTMENT OF NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Evolution Mining Limited (ASX:EVN) advises that Ms Andrea Hall has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company and a member of the Audit Committee, effective 1 October 2017.
Ms Hall is a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years experience in the financial services industry in roles involved in internal audit, risk management, corporate and operational governance, external audit, financial management and strategic planning. Prior to retiring from KPMG in 2012, Andrea was a Perth-based partner within KPMG’s Risk Consulting Services where she serviced industries including mining, mining services, transport, healthcare, insurance, property and government.
Ms Hall is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at ASX-listed Pioneer Credit Limited and Tap Oil Limited. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Insurance Commission of Western Australia and Lotterywest.
Ms Hall is a former Non-Executive Director of Gryphon Minerals Limited where she chaired the Audit and Risk Committee, and former Chair and member of the WA Council for Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.
Ms Hall has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. She also holds a Masters in Applied Finance from Kaplan Business School.
