TRADING HALT
The securities of Catalpa Resources Limited (the "Company") will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday 17 2011 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt - Catalpa Resources Limited
Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1 Catalpa Resources Limited (Company) requests a trading halt in respect of its shares and options (ASX:CAH and CAHOB) from the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 15 June 2011.
The trading halt is requested pending the release of an announcement regarding a material transaction to be entered into by the Company. The Company requests that the halt remain in place until the release of an announcement regarding the transaction, which is expected to be later today.
