Catalpa Resources Limited (ASX: CAH) (the Company) requests that ASX Limited grant an immedlate of trading halt with respect to its ordinary shares.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, the Company provides the following information:

• the Company requests the trading halt pending the release of an announcement to the market by the Company regarding the outcome of the votes to be taken at its extraordinary general meeting scheduled to be held today (Announcement);
• the Company requests that the trading halt last until the release of the Announcement: and
• the Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
