ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

STAGE ONE FEASIBILITY STUDY

Westonia Mines Limited is in receipt of a draft version of the first stage of its Feasibility Study into a resumption of gold mining on its Westonia Project in Western Australia.

The Study is being co-ordinated by Lycopodium Pty Ltd and will be to bankable standard.

The results indicate that a renewed mining operation will be economically robust at current gold prices. Details from the Stage One Report will be released on the day of the Company's AGM on Tuesday 19 November after they have been fully assessed.

The second and final stage of the Feasibility Study is well under way and completion is scheduled for early 2003.
