Evolution Mining Limited (ASX: EVN) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Evolution Mining Limited (‘EVN’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of EVN, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 6 December 2023 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Evolution Mining Limited request for trading halt under Listing Rule 17.1

Under Listing Rule 17.1, Evolution Mining Limited (ABN 74 084 669 036) ( ASX: EVN ) requests a trading halt in EVN securities.

The trading halt is being requested:

• as EVN expects to make an announcement to the ASX in connection with a capital raising comprising an institutional placement (" Placement ") and a share purchase plan; and

• because it is necessary to prevent a disorderly market occurring in EVN securities while the Placement is being conducted.

EVN requests an immediate trading halt until the earlier of:

• the commencement of trading on 6 December 2023; or

• the making of an announcement to the market regarding the completion of the Placement.

EVN is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
